For this project our team of 4 chose to create a pair of women's mountain bike specific pants focusing on movement and articulation. This project took us through every step of the design process, from market research to pattern making, sample sewing and final product.
This project was neat as I was able to input a lot of information about user needs and wants by being a prime user myself. By being a mountain biker, I've been in the market for properly fitting and functional cycling pants. After needing to resort to using men's gear, tackling a women's specific pant only made sense.
